Located along the Sarawat Mountains, Al-Ardiyat is rich in archaeological sites and centuries-old inscriptions. Its valleys are characterized by flowing water, making it a favored destination for nature enthusiasts. The governorate is well-known for its honey production, celebrated annually in a dedicated festival, as well as its diverse agricultural products. It is also home to the Tihama Cement Factory, the second-largest of its kind in the Middle East.
